The Derrickman

I am Piet van Paassen, I have worked almost 35 years for a major oil company, all of these 35 years in the field and on the rig site. I started at the very bottom and climbed the ranks until I was a Field Super Intendent in Oman and an on site trainer for beginning Drilling Supervisors. Besides enjoying working in this industry is it my goal to pass on my experience and knowledge to the new generation in order to promote safety and efficiency. Throughout the last 10 year I became the link between “Town” and Rig Site.
